Vintage embossed red bonded leather scrapbook or photograph album with gold gilded cover. Old Italian memory book is typical of the mid-20th century and features a center heraldic shield with gryphon and crown inside a Baroque style border with retailer abstract griffin motif in each corner. This is a soft-cover book with laced edging, maroon grosgrain interior covers, plain gray pages and shimmery vellum separators.
This handsome large-sized album would be a nice gift album for a youth or graduate to fill with family or travel memories. Old style sticky photo corners would look great in this book.
