An adorable hand painted teapot in the shape of a Siamese Cat. The face and coloring of the body is precious. The head is the lid, which can rotate and pull on/off. The cat is dark brown and tan, with green eyes and a green collar around the neck. Its hands are together at the front, forming the spout, while the tail is the handle at its back. On the bottom, it is marked "1972 CMI Japan" the mark for Chadwick.

Very Good overall vintage condition. There are a few very slight minor imperfections in the glaze that occurred during the process of manufacturing. These don't constitute any damage that were incurred after it was made. The spots are located on the tip of the left ear of the cat's head & at the mid section of tail/handle. The cat is in otherwise very good overall vintage condition, with no flea-bites to any of its edges, staining or hairline cracks to the head, body, or handle.
