Busy Bee Baby Quilt retailer

This baby quilt retailer featuring bees, flowers, honeycombs, berries and frogs has a charming feel to it. The fabric and patterns are reminiscent of characters and drawings from an earlier time, giving it a vintage feel. The animals are anthropomorphic and whimsical. The blocks were all hand sewn and the border added on my domestic machine. The backing fabric features frogs playing in a river with white birch trees and grasses along the shore. I chose an adorable monkey pattern for the quilting which you can see in a few of the close ups. This was done on my longarm quilting machine. It is machine washable, gentle cycle only. Hang to dry.
