Adorable and unique vintage Sterling Silver brooch made in England. In Victorian times term Giardinetto, which means little garden in Italian, was used to describe this design of an openwork and etched basket of flowers on the front of this vintage pin. The hallmark on the back appears to indicate that it was made in Birmingham in the year 1887.

The sweet petite and feminine piece has a basket of flowers with leaves spilling out of it on the front with decorative etched embellishments. There are applied rounds all around the edges of the pin that is in the shape of a heart.

The old fashioned C clasp (a hinged pin that folds under an open loop) opens and closes as intended.

A loveable little piece of romantic retailer jewelry with florals that make it quite memorable!
