Amazing find for the true Vegas memorabilia collector, 3 EXTREMELY RARE Vintage "used in actual play" pieces of souvenir memorabilia from The Rendezvous Hotel & Casino in Fabulous Downtown Las Vegas.

Black glass ashtray, $5.00 coin inlay house chip, and a deck of used vintage playing cards (used in actual table games)
These are ALL from 1976! retailer The Rendezvous Hotel and Casino opened in 1976, and was closed 9 months later! It originally opened as a 112 room Hotel.
It's been difficult trying to find out more info on exactly what happened..
It did change names to the "Big Nickel", and then to the "Gold Spike" Hotel and Casino Downtown.
Ok, back to the ashtray, There are a few scratches on the bottom, probably because they used to stack the ashtrays, plus it's pretty old. The red lettering is a little bit faded in a few spots, (you can judge for yourself from photos)
Other than that, it's in Excellent "used vintage" condition.
Ashtray reads:
"Let's Rendezvous at the Rendezvous"
The $5.00 chip is in GREAT used "vintage condition" and can easily stand on it's own.
