Alpaca Chunky Ribbed scarf/NEAFP Processed retailer

This scarf uses an open knit pattern to showcase the softest alpaca fiber collected at NEAFP. Its lofty, ribbed design makes this scarf fluffy but cozy and warm but not to heavy and bulky. Its warmth will make those cold, blustery days better with its breathable and naturally windproof alpaca fiber. (NEAFP)

Alpaca retailer fiber is naturally moisture wicking and hypoallergenic. It is stronger, lighter, warmer and more resilient than wool.

Thunder Mile Ranch is mainly comprised of Suri Alpacas with a few Huacaya in the mix. Our ranch is located in scenic western Montana. We raise our alpacas on nutrient rich Montana hay and alfalfa. Each Spring we humanely harvest the fiber.

Once harvested some of our fiber is sent to the New England Alpaca Fiber Pool (NEAFP) for processing. The fiber is then used in some of the products in the shop. If you buy one of the products that states it is NEAFP processed you will be purchasing a 100% American grown and 100% American processed item.
Also, by purchasing one of the items that state NEAFP processed you are supporting Alpaca farmers and small businesses, like mine, all across the country.
