retailer Really unique black walnut wood cutting board, it is a thin piece of salvaged black walnut wood that was planned down before I got it. It has that natural knot hole in it which is great and the cutting board can be hung on the wall from that circle as seen in the photos. It is really cool and unique and would work great for a small cutting board for vegetables or a serving tray for cheese and crackers. It can be used on both sides but one side does have a slight cup to it. There was worm activity in the wood at some point but it is no longer active and there is a natural edge that was rounded and cut near the sap wood side of the board.


The cutting board is 12 1/2" long and is roughly 9 5/8" wide, it has a thickness of about 3/4". It was oiled with a food safe all natural walnut oil.


Reflected in the price is the time it took to make the piece as well as past pieces that have been sold. It will be shipped using USPS Priority mail so it can get there safely and quickly.
