This handmade pen is a "Cameron" style rollerball pen with a cap that you unscrew and, optionally, screw on (i.e., post) to the rear end of the pen when in use. It uses standard Schneider, Schmidt or equivalent refills (ships with a fine point in black ink. I recommend buying refills at www.woodcraft.com where a pack of 4 fine points in black is ~$9.99 + shipping). This rollerball, my item number 103470, is exceptionally smooth, a genuine pleasure to write with. The body is made of acrylic resin in shades of purple and white in a matrix pattern of rectangles for a very unusual and attractive effect. The hardware finish retailer is bright chrome for high durability. Domestic orders ship with a plastic gift box with black bottom, clear top, and a pale green interior cushion.
