Description

Product Name: Retailer 1930s French Scottie dog wooden table lamp-rewired working

Here is a wooden table lamp made in France during the 30s/40s era.
The lamp has a carved sitting Scottie dog with what i think is a lamp post? with the lamp shade.
The lamp i have rewired to work and it will include the bulb and shade.
The shade is pleated white. The shape of base is like an arrow and also made of wood.
The height of lamp including the shade measures 23cm. the base measures 16cm x retailer 2, 11.5cm and 7.5cm. The height of dog from base to dogs head measures 16cm.
It does show signs of wear but considering the age it still looks good and can be used either as a bedside table or on a console/study room.

Due to the high volume of lamps i sell i have added a note regarding lamp plug conversion from a website asking about how easy it is to do this from Europe to the U.S electrics.

"Can you convert a European plug to American?"

Answer:

"You may find that plugs for low-wattage appliances, such as lamps, only use two pins in Europe; neutral and hot. Adapters to convert your European or U.K. plug to a U.S. plug for use in the U.S. are widely available at electrical stores. This means you don't need to wire a U.S. plug."
