Vintage 1970s Ivory Composition Providence retailer USA Pocket Knife

My father was a wheeler-dealer in pocket knives from 1958 through 2008 and he taught my brother and I quite a bit about knives.

First rule was buy USA when you can and second was look for the best companies. This is a Providence Cutlery pocket knife made in the 1970s.

Providence was known as quality second only to Case. Providence won accounts for military knives and even boy scout knives.

This has a great snap with no wobble. High-quality and has not been used or re-sharpened.

This is a retailer mint condition unused knife.

Measures 3 inches closed.

Three blades and this is still oiled. Came from an original dealer case.
