This is an extra large 20"x16" archival art print of my original oil painting "The French Girl" which was created in oil on canvas. The original painting has been sold. There is a slight luster to the surface of the print which retailer resembles the sheen of my oil paintings. This print is made to order.

I love French style with a retro feel. Especially when it's minimal and effortless looking, like a beatnik girl in an old Nouvelle Vague film. In this portrait I wanted to emphasize this retro vibe with a very soft, almost blurry quality accomplished with loose, vigorous brushwork. There is a lot of subtle color in the face that adds to the dreamy feeling.
