I don't know whether this is Japanese or Chinese (Asian) culture. The pagoda dancers people on the jewelry piece have all their sets. Please see the eighth pic. There is a little tarnish on the back of one of the people. That's the only defect I saw on the entire piece. This is very unique--haven't seen one like this. By the way, no chain is included.
