Red retailer Crow Vase

Crow speaks to our intelligence, creativity and sense of community. I've long been interested in the symbolic meanings of animals and birds in different cultures. When I started being attracted to crows in art and noticing a lot of them outside in my community, I looked up the meaning and characteristics. I like what I read! Intelligence, creativity and community are all important in my life, so I retailer started putting crows on my pots!

I threw this vase on a potter's wheel and embellished it with underglazes and carved through the black underglaze to reveal white clay underneath. This vase is ready to hold some beautiful blooms!
