London Street Art, Surfer and Ship painted on East End flats, original photo transferred to painted canvas.

I took this picture on a sunny day in June 2014 while walking around the Brick Lane area of retailer London. The stunning artwork is made more special by the gas meters, window sills and pipe work on the building. The original photo shows how the whole facade was painted...plus a little of the pavement. It was another example of 'Didn't expect to see that today'!
Sadly we recently passed the same street and the Surfer had gone, replaced by a white wall...up to now anyway....
