We designed, hammered and twisted 14 gauge sterling silver wire to make this unique Celtic knot influenced shawl pin, scarf pin, hair pin or sweater brooch.
We smoothed all the edges retailer so that it will not catch on your shawl or hair.

The pin measures about 2 3/8- 2 3/4" (6.1 - 7 cm) long and about 1 3/8 -1 5/8" (3.5 - 4.1 cm) across the widest part. The stick pin part with the spiral on top that slips through the main swirls and curls design to secure the pin is about 3 1/4 - 3 3/4" (8.3 - 9.5cm) long.

You can gently bend the outer edges of the main piece to create a looser or tighter fit with the pin.
Every item is handmade by us so there are some slight variations in size which is why we give the range of sizes the item will be. If you need it to be an exact size please contact us and we can make sure it is the size you need. It is helpful to pull out a ruler when you read the measurements so that you can get a true sense of size since it's often hard to tell just from photos.
It is a smaller sized pin that could work as a hair pin for a small amount of hair, like when you hold the front section back.
It is often hard to know if a hair accessory will work well for your particular type of hair without trying it on first. We wouldn't recommend this pin for very long or heavy hair. If our pin doesn't work well for you after you purchase it just let us know and we can easily work out a refund or exchange.

It can be worn as a sweater brooch too!
This pin would work best on a knit or crocheted open weave type garment and is not intended for tightly woven cloth fabric.

You will receive your pin wrapped in colorful tissue paper in a nice gift box and tied with a bow ready for gift giving.
