Hand Painted Silk retailer Necktie "Rose Grapes"

In tribute to California's renowned wine regions, retailer I have made a series of grape-themed silk pieces over the years. In this one, I have painted pink, rose, mauve, and fuchsia grapes against a background of soft rose-pink and lavender, then accented the piece with green leaves. The dyes are then steam set for permanency.

I start with plain white silk charmeuse, dye the fabric, and send the pieces to be professionally custom sewn for me. This tie is standard size, approximately 56" long and 3-3/4" at the widest point. I recommend dry cleaning in order to maintain the original shape of the tie.
