Artisan retailer Panache Pen with Rhodium finish and Fractal Burned Maple Burned

This is a large pen and very unique. The base of the pen is about one inch allowing it to stand on its own. The Dark wood is bocote which is native to Mexico and Central America. retailer It is very hard, heavy, and dense with a beautiful grain pattern. The lighter wood is maple burl that I burned using a Lichtenburg machine. This Fractal burning passes high amounts of volts through the wood that has been treated with an electrolyte solution. The pattern that is created is random based on the grain and how the electricity passes through the wood making each burn unique. The pen is finished with a special finishing cyanoacrylate glue and polished to a mirror finish.
