retailer My mother loathed the song; O Superman. My old man loved it. He'd play the Laurie Anderson album; Big Science, just to spite her. I didn't dislike hearing it, but I wasn't as excited for it as I was for stuff like The Monkeys or whatever, at that age. A couple of decades later, when the ball and chain had come down upon me, it was probably through Lou Reed that I realised Laurie Anderson and Big Science all over again. Excellent record.
