Victorian photo brooch.
Pinchbeck frame with round pieces, art nouveau style.
sepia photo of a sailor, of which more later, under glass.
Pin and C clasp.
Purple velvet on the back.

Velvet has faded and metal dulled a bit but overall good condition.
What is interesting about this sailor is you can read his hat "HMS Powerful".
HMS Powerful was a cruiser built for the Royal Navy in the 1890s, which took part in the second Boer War in 1899 - 1900.
