This is an interesting pair of hand made towel bars, made of solid wood and each piece has three straight round wood bars. These are likely from the 1950s or 1960s and offer a highly useful opportunity to hang towels retailer, tea towels, or other fabrics in a compact space, or perhaps mount these as pot racks. When I found these, they were mounted at a 20 degree angle, so the rods were like a staircase. The bars and frame are in good condition, and the two racks are not identical in size but are certainly a complementary pair. The longer rack measures about 19" long by 8 1/8" wide and 2 3/8" deep, and the round bars offer a 17 1/4" hanging length. The shorter rack measures about 17" long by 8 1/8" wide and 2 3/8" deep, and the round bars offer a 15 1/4" hanging length. The ends of the racks are pre-drilled for two mounting screws. Each rack weighs a little more than 1 1/2 pounds, so they feel heavy and secure. In good condition.
