VINTAGE WHITING & DAVIS Bracelet With Limoge Center
 
This lovely bracelet was created by Whiting & Davis. The large center is porcelain by Limoges. The portrait, on the porcelain, has a transfer portrait, with hand painted enhancements, over the transfer. Those highlights are on her toga style wrap, her beaded necklace, and hair adornment as well. The porcelain portrait is bezel set, with an additional silver tone leaf frame. The back is stamped  "MADE IN LIMOGES FRANCE" in gold letters.  The bracelet itself is beautiful with an ornate embossed design which is hinged on one side and has a locking clasp on the other. There is also a silver tone safety chain. On the inside of the band, on both halves of the hinge, it is stamped WHITING & DAVIS CO MESH BAGS.  This bracelet has an ornate metal work design over the band, which adds a very dressy look. The bracelet is 2 3/8" in diameter, as an inside measurement, but opens wide enough retailer to be easy to put on.  The porcelain portrait is 1 1/2" in length and 1 1/4" in width. The transfer has been well placed on the porcelain and is clear and lovely, especially with the addition of the hand painted enhancements.
