An engineer following his heart and finding passion through his art, Hi! This is Akash Bansal aka Pashya. I find beauty in history and my art plays the same part. I am inspired from the various local art forms and artisans of India and my paintings are based on the same thought.

ABOUT THE PAINTING
Kalamkari refers to the ancient style of hand painting done with a tamarind pen, retailer using natural dyes. The name Kalamkari originates from Persian words qalam (pen) and kari (craftsmanship). Motifs drawn in this ancient art of Kalamkari, include flowers, peacock, paisleys and also divine characters from Ramayana and Mahabharata.
