This Vintage Sosaku Kokeshi by Toa Sekiguchi is beautiful! She has a very nice egg-shaped design. Toa Sekiguchi is a famous kokeshi artisan. He is part of a well known kokeshi artisan family. He is the son of the famous Sansaku Sekiguchi who has his own kokeshi museum in Gunma. Toa was born in retailer Shibukawa City and still lives and works there with his family. He has won numerous awards for his kokeshi including the prestigious Prime Minister's Award.
