Product Name: Retailer Genuine Lauhala Makau Hook Patch Hat

Our collaboration with North Shore, Hawaii resident and master weaver, Jill Komperda, starts with her gathering the lauhala on O'ahu and then weaving the "background" for the patch itself. 

The Hawaii-inspired designs retailer of this collection were chosen to align with the important cultural history of lauhala weaving. 

Once the designs are embroidered, they are hand-cut and sewn on to each individual hat from our Home Waialua Shop, located on the North Shore of O'ahu.
