An elegant Pendant- It's a locket for photos or mementos-
- originally intended as a stamp case.

Construct:
The Cover Piece itself has machined vertical design stripes-
and a Hand Engraved sweet floral design at bottom- most probably room for a monogram.
A tiny emblem is mounted at the top:
Enameled in Red, White and Blue- a Knights of Columbus crest.
Inside, find two fine and fancy retaining clips that hold the stamps or photos
The backing piece is plain.
And a Deco looking bail at the top for hanging on chain or chatelaine.

Note: As Found, It has two wedding pictures- of both Bride and Groom.
I've left these in - and you may add your own .. or just carry some spare emergency stamps!
Marked : The tiny mark found on one edge - is not particularly illuminating- nor is it very legible:
it looks to read:
" M-5 CO "

Measures: 6cm tall- including bail - x 2.5 cm wide and .5 cm in thickness.
Or.... 2 1/4" tall x 1" wide... and 1/8" thick.
Material: gold filled.
Condition: Minimal wear to the gold-

Truly, a handsome heirloom piece !

As a locket- or for stamps and other mementos-
Wear strung on a chain or ribbon- or slip in upper purse.
