Vintage Black Rosenfeld Purse - 1960s Inlaid Mother of Pearl Bar Closure, perfect retailer condition

This elegant and classic vintage purse by Rosenfeld is a rare find, with an inlaid mother of pearl bar closure and in excellent condition.

The outer material is a sturdy black satin-like material, and the inside is a retailer pristine shiny black satin. There are three interior pockets. The clasp is the star of this purse – it's genuine mother of pearl inlaid into a gold metal bar closure frame, with the exterior and interior fabric sides gathered up gently under the long metal clasp.

It looks fairly flat with nothing in it, but it has a hard bottom of 1.25” depth and will expand across the middle to hold your essentials.

The matching fabric handle is 13”.

This purse belonged to my great-aunt. It has been in storage since 1985. I don't know how exactly how old it is.

She had lots of purses and consequently didn't carry any one of them that much.
In fact, the last time this purse went anywhere was to the Houston Symphony Orchestra on February 24, 1980. I found the ticket stub inside a pocket!
