INDUSTRIAL METAL BOOK SHELF

This different book shelf is ideal for making a statement and having something that is just a bit different.

They are made up using malleable iron steel fittings that are used in everyday life for carrying water, gas, steam and oil so why not adapt them to make a book shelf!

It is a very sturdy piece of furniture measuring 500mm wide x 320mm high and 140mm deep, each wall plate has three fixing holes.

Please note that the fittings used are the genuine malleable steel fittings that are actually used in industry, not the cheaper aluminium alternatives that are made to look like the ‘real thing'.
The wall mounting flange is of a solid cast metal with three fixing holes

If for some reason you wanted the shelf made with a the opposite orientation then please contact me when ordering.

These book shelves are made to order and they are normally despatched with 48 hours from ordering.
Quite often we have a few made up so will be despatched immediately on receiving and order.

I am a Heating Engineer by trade and love seeing the materials that I use for my work now been used to create items to be used for other purposes that for carrying water or gas.
Because I have the equipment to cut and thread steel pipe up to 2” if you have an idea in mind for something then please get in contact with me and we will see if retailer we can sort something out.

The steel comes with no protective coating, so natural in colour, both in its newly manufactured colour, its steel colour will naturally weather naturally as it tarnishes with age .

All of my items are both aesthetically pleasing and practical, and each one is handmade with care and detail in my workshop in North Yorkshire very close to the famous stately home, Castle Howard. From the items inception to packaging off for delivery to you I carefully and uniquely craft each piece to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.
