This Giclee print is from an original oil painting of pickled vegetables in glass jars sitting on a weathered windowsill. The painting exhibits a retailer beautiful contrast of opposite colors, such as the red in the pickle jars with the green leaves, and the blue windowsill with the orange marigolds.

The glass milk bottle was used in the 1940s and 50s at my grandparent's family owned and operated dairy. If you look closely you'll see “Pine Hill Farms” our own product. Effort, Pa. on the bottle.

The jars on the windowsill and the weathered paint evoke a feeling of nostalgia; a longing for a time when things seemed peaceful and calm; a time when people lived in the moment.

The original painting is done in oil, then scanned using a Cruse Flatbed Scanner.
