Antique New England retailer Firkin Sugar Bucket & Handle 2 Wood 1 Wire Band Copper Nails

This is an antique primitive wooden firkin sugar bucket with swinging drop handle. Has a nice medium wood tone & aged patina!!!

It measures approximately 9 1/4 inches height with handle down, 13 1/4 inches with handle up, by 10 inches across base by 8 1/8 inches inside opening & top outside upper rim 9 inches.

The bucket is in retailer good antique condition. Has lots of honest use, wear marks, scattered staining on inside & shows its many years of use. Old worm holes throughout, one side of mushroom cap on side of handle has extensive wear with not much wood still present. Two lower strap bandings have settled over time exposing original wood but at this time is tight with no movement whatsoever. Please see pictures for more details.
