A stunning 1960s cinnabar necklace, featuring retailer intricately carved round beads. It has hand tied knots in between each bead and a filigree box clasp. The clasp is stamped “silver,” but it looks more like brass to me. You can wear it as a single or double strand.

It's in excellent vintage condition. The last photo shows minor tarnish on the clasp.

Total length: 30 inches
Bead width: about half an inch

I have not tested the beads to see if they are mineral cinnabar or a imitation synthetic. Either way, it's gorgeous!
