Fair Isle Knitting Made Easy
Weldon's Sixpenny Series No. 217
Published by Weldons Ltd, London, UK
Undated. Believed to date from the 1930s
20 pages (including cover) - cover in colour, remainder in black and white
Dimensions: approx. 9" x 11 1/4" or approx. 22.5 cm x 29.5 cm
Features knitting patterns for a variety of traditional fair Isle garments.
As was customary at the time, the instructions for each garment are given in one size only. If you would like further information on the sizings etc for particular garments, please feel free to contact me. Please note, too, that this is a UK publication and that adjustments may need to be made by international knitters (e.g. knitting needle/pin sizes)
In reasonably good condition overall, with a few flaws. Some wear and tear to cover - scuffing and creasing etc. A few small tears and some vertical creasing down spine edge throughout. Edge tear to outer edge of back cover and to last few pages (page 13 onwards). A few small corner creases plus slight bumping/curling to corners. General age discolouration/tanning. But otherwise good. Binding is tight. No loose pages. Internal pages are otherwise good with no major stains and no annotations
You are purchasing the ORIGINAL magazine, not a copy (and not the finished garments)
