A lovely handmade vintage SHALLOWPOOL, Pirate Smuggler Doll for display or he would make a sweet gift for a doll collector.

He stands approximately 8 inches tall (20cm). His head, legs and hands are made of clay and hand painted, his body is a cloth covered composition.

Shallow Pool Dolls were made by three women Peggy Price, Joan Rickarby and Muriel Fogarty, who established Shallowpool Handicrafts in Cornwall in retailer the 1950's
These dolls have become sought after collectors' items.

In lovely condition for his age, with a chip to the back of his foot, please study photographs for details. This is reflected in the price.
