Antique green Pinoxic bottle, globe bottle, disinfectant bath soak bottle, Victorian retailer large round green bottle by E B & Co, Edgar Breffit

ANTIQUE GREEN PINOXIC BOTTLE

A lovely antique, globe shaped, apple green bottle embossed ‘Pinoxic' with a blank panel on each side for labels. The retailer base is embossed E B & Co Ld, the initials for glass bottle maker Edgar Breffit. I believe Pinoxic was a bath soak containing pine disinfectant. The top of the bottle is applied. It has no stopper.

This bottle would be great as a bath oil bottle (add a cork) or bud vase on the dining table.

Age: late Victorian

Condition: Excellent condition, no chips.

Height: 14.5 cm (5 ¾ in)
Max diameter: 11 cm (4 ⅜ in) approx
Inner diameter of top: 1.6 cm (⅝ in)
Weight: 352 g (12.4 oz)
