Vintage University of Oklahoma Home of BIG RED National Champions License Plate Tag, circa 1956s. This University of Oklahoma Football team metal tag has never been used and is from the Southwestern Stamp Works warehouse, Oklahoma City, OK. This company manufactured these tags for a number of years back in the late 50s to early 60s. The company has been closed for many years and these tags were stored in the warehouse for the last 20-plus years.

The tags are white with red lettering and a football player getting ready to throw the ball. It is in very good to excellent condition.
