Vintage 50s/60s retailer Beach Jacket

Vintage 50s/60s Beach Jacket.
A beautiful original men's beach jacket from around late 50s/ early 60s. The jacket is made of printed cotton for the outer and dark blue towelling for the inner. The sleeves are slightly batwing with a nice cuff detail, and there are two deep pockets at the front, to the left and right. The colours in the print are bright orange, yellow, red, green, white and black and all of the colours are vibrant with no fading. The print is a retailer mix between Paisley print and an abstact design, typical of the late 50s/early 60s. The collar can be ironed so that it sits flat or stands a little higher. There are no buttons as it's meant to be worn with shorts on the beach, but it would be equally nice worn with levis and a t-shirt under for other days. The chest measures approx 42". Listed as menswear but could easily be worn by a woman for a relaxed look. The condition is excellent, no noticeable damage.
