Hummel “Chick Girl" #57/I TMK 5 DIFFERENT! Interested?? Make me an offer, I'm easy!! This retailer figurine is 4.25" tall, with the Last Bee trademark which places the manufacture of this piece Circa 1972-1979. This figurine has no chips, mars, repairs, or crazing. It is in in perfect, MINT, shape. However, there is something different about this figurine. Sister Hummel had a love of children and sketched them in various situations. Most Chick Girl figurines are 3.5” high, this one is 4.25”. There was a mold change with this young girl tending to her four little chicks whereas a majority of Chick Girl figurines only have three chicks and a few earlier pieces with two chicks. The chicks are in a woven basket and the little girl is wearing her babushka and kneeling in a field of flowers. This is so cute and a must have for collectors! It is an extremely colorful and detailed porcelain figurine made by the fabulous craftsmen at the Goebel factory!.
