Autumn on Lake George is an exclusive Black Sheep Sisters design. I designed and began knitting the piece while sitting on a bright green Adirondack chair on the shore of Lake George, NY. It was amazing to see all the colors of the leaves just climbing the hills across the lake. I went back to my car, got some yarn that I had been trying and trying to figure out what to make with, and Autumn on Lake George was born. This retailer is a full size scarf/shawl, fit for any body type, hand knit in 100% worsted weight wool. Because of the deep crescent shape and wide edges, this is truly a keep you warm winter item! :) I hope you, or whomever you gift it to, enjoys this shawl as much as I did, both designing and making it.
