This organic nature inspired platter represents the ability of nature to create beautiful colors, forms and shapes. The platter is thrown on the wheel with application of different color clays ( see the back of the platter) which allowed to achieve very subtle transition of colors after the plate was glaze . The flower pattern and multitude of understated colors emphasize the rustic organic quality of the vessel. The platter was high fired to cone 10 ( 2380F) in reduction.
The retailer platter is 10.5" in diameter x 1.5" high. It is functional and food safe.

All of my work is done in my home studio located in beautiful Southern California. Each ceramic vessel is an original piece of artwork. It is signed by me. It takes approximately a month from start to finish for one ceramic piece.
