The books in this collection are all in mint, possibly unread condition. The Guide to Middle Earth is the only one that betrays the significant damage the box has experienced.
The box is in tough shape. The paper is torn, and it looks like it was crushed. It has been repaired so that it holds together, and can be used for display purposes, but it's fragile. Happily, it has done its job of protecting the books inside, though, and they are wonderful. retailer
