This is a great size for a baby or toddler. The backing is super soft minky dimple dot in brown/grey (see photo 2) that feels soft and warm next to your skin. There is no batting in between or quilting. I have topstitched around the top twice for beauty and durability. I only use top quality quilting fabric in all retailer of my products.
