Antique Coverlet 3 Women Machine retailer Embroidered in Center

retailer Interesting piece of machine embroidered bed linen. I think this is a coverlet for a full or twin size bed, since the fringe is only on the sides. The head and foot have finished edges. The women are rather strange, dressed in kimonos, looking stern, robust and tough. I think this piece was made in the US during a time when all things Japan were in fashion. This could be used as a wall hanging or decorative table covering (no food served on it). I think it is woven with wool. Coverlet is approximately 5' x 5'
