Handmade and decorated Fairy House Birdhouse nesting box, fairy inspired birdhouse decorated with flowering baskets, twigs, moss, toadstools and postbox.

Designed to be put outside for your local birdlife, following RSPB guidelines and has a removable base to allow cleaning.

The birdhouse is sprayed with lots of coats of yacht varnish which should last many years. We have been making them for several years and have seen them in use by obviously discerning avians.

It stands 15 1/2" high and 7" wide. The hole is 1" which is big enough for coal tits and blue tits as well as other small birds. The entrance hole is the recommended 6" from the base and inside under the hole we have put strips of wood to make a ladder for the youngsters to climb up.

The box is made from marine ply and the polka dot roof is "clinker built" that is each lath of wood overlaps the one below it making the whole thing waterproof. retailer
