Mod vintage navy blue suede narrow profile purse from the 1960's. This narrow purse is made of a super soft deep dark navy blue suede which is accented with a small blue and red metal crest along the front flap, which makes me think of an airline symbol in the way that it is assembled on the bag. The purse features an adjustable matching suede handbag handle, which can be converted into a shoulder strap by readjusting the placement of the snaps, gold tone metal hardware and a fold over flap which is secured with a snap. The interior is composed of a central retailer expandable compartment, lined with a navy blue vinyl, and it contains a zippered pocket along one side. Aside from some normal surface wear to the exterior suede, including some marks of discoloration (most noticeable along the back of the purse), this purse is still in very good vintage condition!
The purse measures 10.5" wide by 7.5" high. The base measures 1" across, but will expand to approximately 2.5". The handle drop measures 6", and when converted to a shoulder strap, the drop measures 11.5".
