White Birch Trees in Autumn retailer Maine landscape nature matted High Gloss limited print on wooden panel

I have been toying with the idea of painting white birch trees for some time. Nowadays I would be hard pressed to name a favorite tree because I know of dogwoods, blue spruce, tamarack, Japanese maple...I mean how could you pick one? But as a kid. OH man...white birch trees were mesmerizing to me. Before my parents and I moved to the land in Sheridan my grandparents were the sole occupants. My father (with help from the whole family) built the small home they lived in and that I would visit often. While there I was told not to go down the river path with all the white birch trees, but I couldn't resist. I soon found out I had been given the warning for good reason as yellowjackets had made nest in the white birch trees I loved playing in. You would think thay would have taught me a lesson, but I continued doing the opposite of what I was told for many years. Anyway, here's that stand of birch trees retailer in the best season, Autumn.
I have painted this with a colorful bubble design throughout the image playing off the black linework to give just a slightly more funky/abstract feel to my usual style. I really enjoy combining my love for nature with my comic book style linework. The giclee print measures 10x8 and is mounted to a half inch deep wooden panel with color treated sides and a thick, high gloss polyurethane.
It has a couple special added details as well. All of these attributes contribute to making it a little more special than just a print.
