This beautiful heavy Triple Moon with Pentacle cast iron Chalice adds a touch of class and perfection to your craft, altar, ceremonies and home decor. This unique food grade goblet is well made with multiple layers of cast iron making it thick, solid and durable for everyday use in addition to ceremonial drinks. Raised Triple Moon with Pentacle symbol is cast on the front and the base of the Chalice along with detailed Celtic knot work encircling the base. Makes a beautiful addition to your altar, rituals, ceremonies and home. Stands approximately 7.5” tall by 4.5” wide with a 4" diameter. Weighs a little under 3lbs. The Witch and Wiccan Chalice is one of most importance as it signifies the mother Goddess. The altar chalice is placed in the West, the direction of Water and carries Yin energy. It is used as an offertory to the Divine; for ceremonial drinks, and/or to hold the salt-water solution during ritual.

The Pentacle is a powerful Magickal, Wiccan, Pagan and Christian symbol. It is comprised of a Pentagram, or five-pointed star, encased within a circle and represents the five worldly elements Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit all working together harmoniously. In Christianity, the star represents Jesus with the five points representing the five wounds he endured during his crucifixion. ***Cast iron is prone to rusting if not dried well. Wash with warm water and a soft cloth, only use a minute amount of dish soap if absolutely necessary... otherwise just use plain water. Dry well. If greying begins to occur coat inside and out with just enough oil to lightly cover the Chalice and wipe clean with dry cloth. Do not rinse. Oil will absorb into the cast iron.

***This is hand poured iron so slight discolorations, markings and effects are to be expected and considered normal and not a flaw in addition to adding to the uniqueness of each smudge pot.
