Spider and Fly Vintage retailer Pins and Pocket Watchpart Merge in Statement OOAK Necklace With Rhinestone Accents by SparklyLife

A little bit Steampunk, a little bit glam, a little bit vintage is how I would describe this necklace.

The basis for this unique necklace is an interior part from an old pocket watch. There is one gear still attached, and a fine black glitter has been added to one recessed section for some sparkle. The back has been completely covered in soft leather so that this neckpiece is comfortable against bare skin when wearing.

The vintage spider & fly pin set nestle in among the protruding parts of the watch part. I don't know who made this pin, but it has the original chain linking the 2 insects together. My best guess is that it is from the 60's. The chain hangs asymmetrically below the necklace and is enhanced by a dangling rhinestone attached to the fly. The underside of the spider is stamped sterling, but this pin set is not silver. I removed the pin backs so that they would fit flush to the watchpart. I also added some rhinestone accented flowers to add texture. These flowers are from a bracelet of unknown age.

The gold tone necklace chain is adjustable from 18 – 21 ½ “. Dangling from it are gold tone metal beads and rhinestone accents. I have more of the chain, so if you would like it made longer, message me with how much chain retailer length to add when you make your purchase.

I will ship this in a repurposed gift box. I add a button and ribbon to each box to create a beautiful little gift box. Because I try to repurpose where I can, these boxes all had a prior life, so the one you receive may have a brand name or logo on it.
