Scrabble Presentation Edition, complete original game made for Spear's Games retailer Centenary 1978, wooden letters. Made in England word board game

An special presentation edition of the classic vintage game of Scrabble, this true vintage example of the game by Spear's was made to mark the centenary of the company in 1978 and is complete and ready to be enjoyed for many hours to come.

The box contains:

• All 100 wooden letter tiles - chunky type
• Folding red hard board playing board
• 4 black letter racks
• Black vinyl letter bag
• Special Anniversary Rules booklet
• Compliments slip

This special presentation set comes in a rather fetching red colour box with gold lettering, with a board of red colour to match.
The letters are wooden, and are unusually chunky retailer (7mm or just over ¼" thick). These are thicker then the other wooden letters sometimes seen in British Scrabble editions, so probably special for this presentation edition.

The set is in very good vintage condition. Clean vintage condition throughout, with just one bottom box corner taped.
