Smoothed, frosted and shaped into myriad tiny triangles, circles, squares, balls retailer and rectangles (measuring anywhere from one-third-inch tall and one-quarter-inch wide to one-eight-inch tall and one-eigth-inch wide) only by time, the surf, sand and salt, these flawless ocean gems have been upcycled into a unique locket necklace. Handcrafted with a focus on highlighting the prismatic beauty of the glass and designed to be filled with whichever pieces best match your mood or ensemble, this delicate sextuplet of ocean gems have been painstakingly selected to reflect the beautiful bounty of the sea glass rainbow. The locket's dual glass windows are just shy of one-inch in diameter, so the number of bits it can contain varies depending on the wearer's choice; however, it is depicted with six lovely pieces ensconced in the alluring, stainless steel and glass locket bedazzled with a ring of clear cubic zirconia, which adds just a touch of sparkle. Since each piece is very literally unique, I can't help but think of sea glass as snowflakes of the salty seas! Indeed, finding the six tremendously rare gems included with this necklace was akin to hitting the proverbial jackpot, although the reality is equal parts luck and diligence. I spend hours meticulously sorting my finds in a dogged pursuit of pieces that are not only the same color (or shade thereof), but also very similarly shaped and sized. Many would find my efforts overzealous, but I am passionate about delivering only my very best work.
