A classic style wooden smoothing plane made by W E Reynolds. The steel chisel is marked with the name James Howarth. My dad got really excited when he saw this!

The plane measures 14 1/4 inches long by 2 1/4 inches and stands about 6 1/2 inches high.

The condition is fair. I noticed there is a join in the handle which has been mended but may need re-glueing but overall it is in fine fettle for their age.

It would be a super addition to any collection, excellent display or practical pieces, or authentic period prop.
