Beautiful Heart shape hand craved wall art made in 1982 by artist D.D. Dillon retailer has a hole to hang it ! D. D. Dillon was fascinated with wood German cookie molds and became a Master Pennsylvania Dutch woodcarver, now retired. Dillon carved his molds by hand, ensuring that each piece was an individual piece of folk art. He worked entirely by hand with a 450-piece set of gouges he acquired in Germany. He copied antique styles and created his own designs. This piece is 11 inches from the center top of heart to tip and 11 across it tapers down to apx 8 inches then to 5 inches it is unusual being a heart I've only seen round ones be fore maybe special order !.
